Electrocution Festival II May 30th, 2009
The Bands

MyParasites (12:00am - 1:00am)

Recently signed to Project Frequency Records, MyParasites hales from Philly, PA.

Hard, fast pulsating drums, catchy synths, intricate glitching, sampling, condemning lyrics that almost anyone can relate to and sing along to, harsh electronic mechanical beats, concepts, complex sequencing, all define MyParasites' sound.

Xentrifuge (10:30pm – 11:30pm)

From the mechanized subculture of NJ/NYC's Industrial scene comes Xentrifuge, a brutal assault of harsh electro, constructed by the collectively innovative minds of Chris X., Ray H., and Paradox. Xentrifuge manufactures a groundbreaking blend of EBM, fused with noise, to create a hauntingly melodic, yet raw and unforgiving product.

Q (9:00pm – 10:00pm)

Q is an industrial hard rock band based out of Springfield, MA. Since the band’s conception in 2000, they have developed a unique sound that blends the best of both worlds. Described by many to be “pioneers for the next generation of industrial hard rock”, the band’s sound has been described as a cross between Nine Inch Nails, Disturbed with a dash of Lacuna Coil.

Q is Western Mass’s #1 Industrial Hard Rock band and has opened for the likes of Slayer, Lacuna Coil, Killswitch Engage, God Forbid, Mastodon, and many many others!

Synnack (7:30pm – 8:30pm)

When “that guy from Cut.Rate.Box” gets together with vjs, and the best of Eastern Massachusetts musicians to create Synnack , you know something amazing is going to flow from it. Musical, visual history will be made, folks. Don’t miss Synnack .

Feti Ant (6:00pm – 7:00pm)

The music itself is primarily EBM, Electro, and industrial, although branches out to Ambient, Gabber, Drum & Bass, and what ever else Cal Glover-Wessel damn well pleases. Feti Ant’s played on stage with the likes of London After Midnight, Life Cried, Krimsonmask, and FGFC820 and is returning to our stage from Electrocution Festival I.

KrimsonmasK (4:30pm – 5:30pm)

Signed to Danse Macabre, KrimsonmasK is also returning to our stage from Electrocution Festival I and features Cal Gover-Wessel from Feti Ant, and DJs Damian and Mykill Plague in a spine crunching musical threesome.

Endless (1:30 pm – 2:30 pm)

Follow Izi and Brian Dunigan filter synthetic sound at its finest.

“Borders are illusions. We are all Endless .”

.:._.:._.:._.:.

In addition to her two current club residencies, DJ Shivar has also DJed at events such as Convergence 11 (San Diego), Convergence 12 (New Orleans), Infest 2006 & 2007 (Bradford, UK), Cryofest (London, UK), Bloodfeast I, II, & III (Boston), and a bunch of other places hardly any of us will have the money to go to.

Photobucket

Relatively recent (say the last couple years) she’s had guest appearances at Plague (Portland, Maine), The Whirling Dervish (New Orleans), Club Hell (Providence, RI), Haven (Northampton, Mass), Dark Intentions (Lowell, Mass), etc.

Previous residencies for DJ Shivar include: Empire (New Orleans), Fallout (New Orleans), Slut @ the Shim Sham Club (New Orleans), Xmortis @ Manray, Mekanism @ Manray, and Crypt @ Manray (all Boston).

She’s a fantastic ebm/industrial/electronic/whatever DJ when she gets the proper amount of liquor & angry in her.

You need an industrial / electronic DJ? What a coincidence! Experts agree that she has excellent DJ-fu.

Electrocution Festival welcomes DJ Mothra to the lineup!
electrocutionii

DJ Mothra
Electrocution Festival II

DJ Mothra began his musical tenure in the early 90’s when he came to the Boston area scene as a radio DJ. His talents quickly spread from the airwaves through the mixing board and onto the dance floor, which he’s been packing and moving ever since.

Photobucket

Spinning everything from industrial to EBM and IDM to Electro, not to mention a few other genres in between, Mothra has continuously strived to keep the sounds of the scene fresh.

Photobucket

Currently, Mothra runs Ceremony , which recently celebrated its twelfth anniversary and THUDfest, which is now in its second year. You can also hear him spin every month at Sin_O_Matic and Haven in Northampton, MA.

Photobucket

In addition to running his Boston area events, DJ Mothra enjoyed resident status at Manray for long running events such as Fantasy Factory, Hell, Mekanism, and X Mortis. Most recently, he has appeared at Eccentrik Festival in North Carolina, Black Sun Festival III, and Convergence 13 in Portland, OR.

Feti Ant returns to the Electrocutions Fest II!
electrocutionii

Electrocutions Festival is proud to announce another band confirmation!

Returning from last year Feti Ant!

Feti Ant is a music project aiming to embody or represent short stories or concepts created by Cal Glover-Wessel.

Photobucket

All of the songs probably have a meaning of some kind, are part of a larger whole, have a (sometimes unbearably long) story behind them, or other such nonsense. The stories of Feti Ant often take place in a future where information is the most important currency, machines are people too, half of everything pretty much doesn't exist, and your thoughts are almost never yours alone.

Photobucket

The music itself is primarily EBM, Electro, and industrial, although branches out to Ambient, Gabber, Drum & Bass, and what ever else he damn well pleases. Feti Ant DOES play live, and would be very pleased if you booked him for a show. He’s played on stage with acts like London After Midnight, Life Cried, Krimsonmask, and FGFC820.
